If you do take the shuttle, before warned that the shuttle bus drops you off about an 8 to10 minute walk to the front door of the casino. You can park at nearby T stations and take a shuttle over (just don’t plan on going after 7:00 am on a weekday because the commuters will have all the spots). If you only are gambling a small amount of money, the $22 parking fee is a big chunk of your budget. The high rollers will probably get comped for their parking, but the seniors on a budget gambling away their social security checks will not. The lack of free parking is going to hurt them after the novelty wears out.
It sticks out like a sore thumb, and outside of a few shops and a small harbor walk, there isn’t much to do other than watch your money go away.
It is like a glittering diamond in a sack of rocks, and I don’t mean that as a compliment. I don’t know what Wynn was thinking when it built a casino/resort with $500-700 hotel rooms and overpriced restaurants in a working class town like Everett.
